Enrique “Ricky” Martin is back on tour in Australia with an exciting and exhilarating song and dance performance. Ricky Martin is accompanied on stage by eight dancers and his band for the Ricky Martin Live Australian Tour. His Australian tour started on 3 October and ends on the 20th. His show centers on his latest hit single “Come with Me”, which debuted on the Kyle and Jackie O Show in Australia in June and number three on the Australian charts.

Ricky Martin performs recent hits like “She’s All I Ever Had”, “Maria”, “Nobody Wants to Be Lonely”, and “Private Emotion”. Ricky Martin also sings and gyrates to his classics like “Livin’ la Vida Loca”, “La Bomba”, and “She Bangs”, hits from earlier in his career. Ricky Martin maintains the same athletic pace as he did ten years ago, hardly looking like he’s hit the big 40.

The second half of the show is a tribute to Puerto Rican Ricky Martin’s Latin American heritage. Marked by salsa music and movies, it is a high-energy performance that makes anyone watching it marvel at his endurance, though many audience goers end up dancing along to songs like "Maria”. Ricky Martin’s mantra for this concert series is “I don’t care”, the name of his hit single released in 2005. Concert-goers don’t believe this mantra, because of the energy and effort put into this well-received and highly regarded concert tour. Ricky Martin engages in top notch vocals while maintaining a fast paced samba dance throughout the hour and a half long concert.

Ricky Martin’s Recent Career and Awards

Ricky Martin toured Broadway and earned a Grammy before taking a swing at reality TV. Ricky Martin’s Australian profile has risen with his appearance as a judge on “The Voice”, a reality TV show to find the next music star. Ricky Martin said in a recent interview that he will be performing tracks with prior contestants from “The Voice”. This led to his concert tour to hit Australia as part of his world-wide tour.

This concert tour promotes his new Greatest Hits album. Ricky Martin’s Greatest Hits: Souvenir Edition has already been gold-certified. This is no surprise to fans, since the singer has already sold seventy million albums.

Ricky Martin has already received 95 platinum records, eleven #1 hit songs, six #1 albums, two American Music Awards, eight World Music Awards and several MTV Music Video Awards. Ricky Martin is the Latin Recording Academy’s youngest Person of the Year honoree.
